My Name is Paul Matan And this is my portfolio.
When I first decided to go back to school I wanted to be able to do something that would be more than a job and be something I will be happy to get up every morning and want to go to work. I thought about becoming a game tester and started looking around to see what kind of game testing jobs there where. I came to find that even to test games they wanted you to have a degree and that lead me to thinking about what kind of degree I could get. I went through the different degrees and decided on a game design degree and from what I found online Full Sail University was the top result and it had an online program so I could work and do school online.
I know this was going to be a massive undertaking that would have me altering my life for almost three years. I have a full time job at Amazon where I work 10-12 hour days four days a week. Now I would be adding full time college courses. Free time would be disappearing and I would have to be dedicated to put the time and effort into school. I was willing to take the chance and on more then one occasion I won't lie, I was not sure I was up to the challenge of it all. But class by class, month by month I learned skills to help me distress ans relax and to then go back to get everything done and submitted on time. So I am not your typical 28 year old student one semester away from a degree. However I am a very determined and dedicated game design student that is not only one semester away from my game design degree but I am a 28 year old that knows what he wants and is ready to be a dedicated and determined team player in the game design world.
